Phlebotomy Fundamentals: Lay the foundation for your phlebotomy journey by learning about the basics of blood collection techniques and procedures.

Patient Preparation: Learn how to properly communicate with patients, instruct them on pre-collection guidelines, and ensure their comfort during the blood collection process.

Routine Blood Collections: Master the art of venipuncture and capillary puncture for routine blood collections. Develop the skills to efficiently and effectively obtain blood samples.

Special Collections: Explore the techniques and considerations for collecting blood specimens from challenging patient populations such as infants, elderly individuals, and those with difficult veins.

Processing: Discover the importance of proper specimen handling, labeling, and processing to ensure accurate test results and maintain sample integrity.

Educational Program
Consecutive order of successful module completion will move student from one class to another in the order listed on the right. The courses are available to all admitted students based on the established admission criteria. The students will progress from one class to another based on the passing of the subject matter by getting at least 70% on the end of module test. The student who does not meet the pre-requisite criteria to move in the chronological order will have three chances to retake the class. Students who scored 69% and lower, will be provided with access to additional support from the instructors, Social Worker and Educational Coach. All classes will be presented in English.
